Chicago’s La Sirena Clandestina is a culinary journey through Brazil, where the restaurant’s chef spent his childhood. Design inspiration was drawn from Latin American street art, Brazilian boardwalks, and the seaside town of Búzios, where the actress Brigitte Bardot made an incognito stay in the ’60s. These elements were translated into the restaurant’s menus, signage, printed material, and clothing. Nitewerk’s strong use of orange complements the seaside-inspired interior.
